Statement of Faith

We believe:
The Bible is the inspired Word of God

2 Timothy 3:16
"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:"

The Godhead:
God is manifested in three persons.
The Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit

Matthew 3:16-17
"And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:

   And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."

The New Birth and Eternal Life:
John 3:6 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
John3:16 For God so Loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son. that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Man is created in the image and likeness of God. Through Adam's transgression, sin entered the world. Jesus came into the world to give his life to redeem man from sin.

Water Baptism:
Baptism in water is a direct commandment of our Lord

Matthew 28:19
   "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:"

Baptism in the Holy Ghost:
Brings powers for Christian service.

Acts 1:8
   "But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth."

Divine Healing:
Divine healing for the body as answer to the prayers of believers.

James 5:14-16
   "Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
   And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

   Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much."
